Mikah, The Martial Artist
This page may contain spoilers regarding Broken Aether.

Mikah is an optional recruitable character available after Tomke joins the party. Her kit is built around combo-based ability chaining, where certain skills enhance the effectiveness of subsequent actions. This system rewards planned sequencing and allows her to create sustained damage spikes when her rotation is executed in the correct order.
Her abilities are designed to enable follow-up attacks, amplify specific skills, or convert prior actions into higher-impact finishers, making her performance dependent on timing rather than individual isolated skills. This approach provides consistent offensive output when rotations are maintained and can scale effectively in encounters that allow uninterrupted execution.
Mikah’s design fits parties that benefit from momentum-driven damage strategies, especially when paired with characters who capitalize on fast turn cycles or buffs that enhance multi-step action sequences.
Strengths
Fits the typical monk archetype: high damage and speed but poor defensive stats.
Highest ATK.
Second highest AGI.
Weaknesses
Lowest TP.
Second lowest DEF.

Baseline
Tiger Punch / Rush: her to-go single target combo. Tiger Punch grants the Tiger Combo buff, empowering Tiger Rush. Using an empowered Tiger Rush grants the Full Bloom buff.
Falling / Rising Dragon: her to-go area-of-effect combo. Falling Dragon grants the Dragon Combo buff, empowering Rising Dragon. Using an empowered Rising Dragon grants the Full Bloom buff.
Final Blossom: very potent area-of-effect attack when used with the Full Bloom buff.
Spinning Kick: a stacking single-target attack that reach up to x4.5 damage multiplier when used in succession.
Charging Revenge: deals 120% more damage on the next turn (140% when maxed).
Double Steps: increases the AGI of the entire party by 30% (up to 40% when maxed).
Class Abilities
Ether Sucker: from Vampire. Useful on all characters.
HP Sacrifice: from Vampire. A passive skill where you lose 5% of your HP but deal 5% more damage (up to 15% when maxed).
Crystals
ATK Up: Mikah already hits pretty hard, having the highest ATK in the cast.
HP Drain: very straightforward. The amount seems to scale with damage done, so the harder you hit, the more you heal.

Mid Game
When Mikah joins the party, she typically has access to mid-tier abilities that enhance her combo-oriented mechanics. These skills allow her to build sequences that increase damage output through successive actions, reinforcing her role as an attacker whose performance depends on maintaining action flow rather than individual standalone abilities.
Mid-game development can focus on improving her offensive attributes, survivability, and speed to support consistent combo execution and frequent turn order advantages. Enhancing agility allows her to initiate setups earlier in fights, while increasing attack power further scales damage from chained skills.
Class Emblems during this phase can reinforce her offensive specialization by improving agility, physical damage, or hybrid stat growth. Different emblem choices support varied build directions depending on team composition and the role she is intended to fill within the party.
End Game
In the late-game tier, Mikah gains access to advanced abilities that strengthen her multi-step attack structure and expand her potential for high-impact finishers. These abilities enhance both individual hits and combo end points, allowing her to maintain strong output during extended encounters and coordinated damage windows.
Late-game progression can emphasize improving her core offensive attributes and turn economy to support sustained rotation-based damage. As her kit solidifies, development focuses on refining existing strengths rather than altering her role, reinforcing her identity as a high-frequency physical damage dealer.
Advanced equipment at this stage can support either increased offensive scaling or faster turn cycles, depending on whether the priority is maximizing peak damage or ensuring consistent setup opportunities. These items allow her to be tailored toward burst-focused execution or speed-driven pressure depending on encounter demands.
